Faith

and Identity

Our Catholic Faith and Identity are at the heart of our School community.

Living Out Our

Faith Daily

Established in 1922 within the tradition of the Christian Brothers and inspired by the Edmund Rice Touchstones, St Gabriel's nurtures a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to grow in faith, compassion, justice and service.

While our Catholic tradition provides the foundation of our School culture, we warmly welcome and value families of all faith backgrounds and beliefs. Faith is lived daily through whole school prayer, Liturgies and opportunities for reflection, community outreach and service. In partnership with St Bernadette’s Parish, students at St Gabriel's are supported throughout their Sacramental Journey through preparation delivered at school in a safe and familiar environment suited to their individual needs. The Very Rev Fr Fernando and Fr Menard regularly visit St Gabriel’s to celebrate Liturgies, lead Sacramental celebrations and strengthen the connection between Parish and school, fostering a strong sense of belonging and community for all students.

“We are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth, wellbeing and individuality of every student, empowering them to live with faith, hope, respect and compassion within the wider community.”
