St Gabriel’s is fortunate to be a part of a long history of schools associated with the Christian Brothers initially and then with EREA

All schools and educational entities in the Edmund Rice tradition across Australia are unified by a Charter which comprises touchstones giving ideals authentically linked with the Charism of Blessed Edmund Rice and which underpin the ministry in the schools and educational endeavours in Church mission.

We are committed to justice and peach for all, grounded in a spirituality of action and reflection that calls us to stand in solidarity with those who are marginalised and the earth itself.

Since 2022 St Gabriel’s has been a member of the Edmund Rice Education Flexible School (EREAFSL) network of schools.

These schools align strongly with our mission at St Gabriel’s – to foster an environment which caters for those young people who require a diverse learning experience in tailored classrooms that best suit their needs for growth.

Safeguarding

We have zero tolerance of child abuse and all allegations and safety concerns are treated very seriously in line with our robust policies and procedures. EREA and its schools have legal and moral obligations to contact authorities when we are worried about a child’s safety, which we follow rigorously.
