At St Gabriel's

St Gabriel's is undergoing considerable growth and renewal as a special school. The reduced enrolments of children with hearing impairment and the high demand from parents of children with a wide range of disabilities, has triggered a redevelopment of new programs and curriculum which has ensured that the educational experience on offer is "best practice".

Our aim is to prepare our students for life beyond primary school and to develop them as contributing individuals in their communities.

The school follows a regular primary school model which provides students with a wealth of experiences across a rich and diverse curriculum. As a result, St Gabriel's students develop independence and confidence.

St Gabriel's, while catering for children with a wide range of disabilities, is about everything but disability. The students are acknowledged for their gifts and talents and consequently they are highly motivated to achieve. Success underpins life at St Gabriel's.
