2013 GOLFING FOR GABE'S

Thank you…
A great big thank you to everyone who supported and attended our inaugural Golfing for Gabe’s on Monday 16th September 2013.

With 112 enthusiastic players and a team of supporters the day was a great success, raising $16,000 towards programs for the school.

The golfers played the magnificent Greg Norman designed course at Stonecutters Ridge Golf Club, with some fun challenges along the way.  At the 17th hole they received tips and hints from golf pro
Glenn Kelly who donated his time with “Beat the Pro”. Four players managed to do just that! “Survival ball” also resulted in a few good laughs – do crows really steal golf balls?

Players narrowly escaped the rain as lunch was served inside the club house. Several of our St Gabriel’s students enjoyed chatting to golfers prior to the awards and prizes being handed out. Congratulations to everyone who participated!

A BIG thank you to our partners of the event, Crowe Horwath, Castle Towers, Independent Locksmiths and Security, Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre, Smada Electrical, Tranquility Homes and TLE Electrical, Castle Hill.

We would like to thank our hardworking Committee, led by Mr Ray Millers from The Hills Shire Council and supported by one of our grandads– Graham (Jayden’s grandfather) and mum – Janine (Tom’s mum).

Thank you also to our generous community of local businesses who donated items for our Golfer’s Goodie Bags and live auction.

THANK YOU
